In response to a recent news item about FB founder Zuckerberg addressing his employees, after one of them crossed out words on a Black Lives Matter sign and changed it to All Lives Matter, the following is offered, but what do I know?

When blacks figure out social mores, the whole country will improve. Perhaps they should look around. Successful people, happy people, of all shades, have h.s. diplomas at a minimum. They wear their clothing in a respectful manner. They are not prone to violence at every slight, perceived, or real. They say please, hi, thank you, excuse me, you're welcome. They hold doors for others. They are polite drivers. They greet strangers. They neatly maintain their personal property, be it a vehicle, an apt, a house owned or rented, a neighborhood. They attend public meetings and speak up only when recognized, using indoor voices. They don't have umpteen children before they are ready. They do not depend upon social welfare programs. They pay their debts, and try not to have too many. They speak mostly correct English. They control their children, know where they are at all times, who their friends are, where they are going, and set un-waiverable times for them to return, or else. They respect authority without automatically caving in or allowing themselves to be run over by that same authority, be it a teacher, minister, or cop. In other words, they are educated, neatly dressed, cleanly and clearly spoken, and play well with others and observe basic socially accepted manners. This is NOT rocket science. ALL lives matter.

Mr. Trump is NOT running for Chairman of the Board. He is running for the most powerful office in the world, bar none. He will have to be far more tactful and conciliatory and polite with so many different people and organizations and countries that I do not believe he is capable of doing so. At least two generations have existed under our PC mores. So, when alleged media types and younger voters hear someone for the first time tell it like it is, it sounds like music to their ears. They become enraptured, and their brain locks. Is this the man we want to hand the nuclear keys to? Is this the guy who will work well with Congress and its divided factions, and all those special interests out there? Citizens need to remember that all politicians lie, never more so than when they are campaigning. One of the mantras of political campaigning is to tell the people what they want to hear. This almost without exception, is widely separated from world and national realities. In order to restore balance to our country and its form of tri-branch govt., in which all three are represented in law and decisions, we need a reasoned experienced person who knows how to listen, and how to get things done. The media continues to ignore Ohio gov. Kasich, but he deserves closer examination. His record is solid, as is his personality and family life. Educated, classy, polite, well-reasoned talker, plays well with others. I for one ignore what the corporate-powered media keeps shoving down my throat and I will continue to examine the candidates without their help, and make up my own mind. Slithery, Old Man Bernie, and Windbag don't cut it for me.

In case you were wondering if your great-great-grandchildren's great-great-grandchildren were going to be able to enjoy life in America without national debt, read these figures.

The debt was roughly $5.7T (TRILLION) in 2000 when Dubya took office. In 2009, when numnutz took an oath he has pretty much ignored, the debt was at $10.6T (TRILLION).

Last month, it reached $19 TRILLION.

America is not at war. The M.I.C. is at war. The DoD budget is $587B, and that is down from $628B not so long ago.

We continue to elect and re-elect, people who haven't got the faintest clue about what this all means, nor how to pay it down.

Our infrastructure is crumbling pretty much to the point where it all will crumble very soon: 60-80 year old train and car bridges, roads, electrical grid, etc. We ignore our veterans and elderly and homeless and make them assume the budget cut burden, but have no problem handing out welfare to the work-capable, foreign aid to our enemies (our satellites make it into space these days on Russian-provided rocket engines we bought from them), and foreign trade is so imbalanced it isn't funny. Ford and Carrier just announced new Mexico manufacturing plants, and GM builds cheaper in China and ships back here, than they can by making cars here.

We still subsidize Big Oil 103 years after its industry, in its infancy, needed a boost. We still pay farmers not to grow products and their efforts are subsidized, again, by all of us. Social Security is unsustainable, and our Tax Laws are benefitting those with the most.

Whomever lands in the WH better know how, and have a plan, to fix our economic mess, or we can just turn off the lights.

Bet less than 50% of eligible voters will vote come Nov. The divisiveness must end. Politcal campaign attacks must end. Congress doing nothing, must end. What we need to do, we know about. What, are we waiting for? And please, don't tell me Bernie and Slithery and the Doc and the Mouth are the solution, either.
